TRADING UPDATE                                                                  
Sea Kay is currently finalising its results for the six months ended 31 December
2009 and shareholders are advised that it is expected that the group will       
reflect a basic loss and headline loss of between (10.60) cents and (12.50)     
cents per share (2008: earnings and headline earnings of 7.84 cents per share). 
The loss situation is as a result of cash-flow constraints, which lead to a     
slower construction rate and penalties being levied as a result thereof; as well
as a substantial loss on a major project.                                       
The financial information on which this trading update is based has not been    
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors.                              
The company`s results for the six months ended 31 December 2009 are expected to 
be published on SENS on or about 31 March 2010.
